My friends had a lot of great financial advice, they were like… “Fuck ‘em.” Like across the board, they were like, “Don’t pay it. What are they gonna do, put your appendix back in?” …It didn’t feel right not paying them back. So I’m doing the right thing, and today I’m still paying them back… $20 a month, and if Beth Israel Hospital ever wants to see $45,000 they just have to make sure I live to be 657 years old. Soo.. ball’s in your court, Beth Israel.

Julian McCullough on his 45k medical bill, ACT TWO. SPLIT A GUT.

I find it absolutely abhorrent that our elected officials would try to remove funding from such a necessary and outstanding public health resource. Regardless of what your views on abortion might be, Planned Parenthood provides countless other services that I think we can all get behind. Most importantly, Planned Parenthood provides these resources to individuals who otherwise likely go without ANY kind of services. This is bigger than reproductive rights - it’s about social justice.
